| Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice
Licorice is a powerful anti-inflammatory, so powerful that I have on many occasions used it in place of Benadryl with successful results (and no drowsy side effects). When the skin is itchy or irritated, licorice can kill the itch. The problem with licorice, however, is that it contains an element that causes high blood pressure, which makes it something you can't take on a regular basis. Enter: modern technology. Scientists have figured out a way to extract the glcyrrhizin, the compound associated with high blood pressure, making this a safe and highly effective product. If you suspect food sensitivities or experience gastric issues, taking this supplement immediately before a meal can reduce or eliminate any resulting inflammation and help support the mucosal lining of the stomach, something that is very much an issue for many eczema patients. 60 capsules.
Ingredients: 2 capsules contain 500 mg. licorice root (glycyrrhiza glabra) deglycyrrihizinated.
